The foundation course for the CA designation, CA Foundation, requires candidates to register with the Board of Studies (BOS), which is the first step in the process of becoming a Chartered Accountant. The ICAI opens the registration portal for the CA Foundation Course and CA Foundation Exams twice a year in the months of May and November, just like its other levels, the CA Intermediate and CA Final. However, as of right now, a student can only sign up for the CA Foundation Course after sitting for his or her 12th-grade exams, and after passing those exams, he or she will be qualified to sit for the CA Foundation exam in 2026.
